Eastwood is a FANTASTIC medium sized map!
I hope every future map for BF6 is the same size as Eastwood or bigger. In fact, I'd say Eastwood should've been bigger and it shows that Eastwood was actually shrunk based on how large each HQ is. Each HQ itself could've been another objective. The golf course area could've been expanded and that too could've been its own HQ for vehicle combat. Despite the obvious shrinking of the play space, Eastwood is still the best map in Battlefield 6 hands down.
The air vehicle boundary area is not suffocating like the New York map, you can actually fly for 10 seconds without worrying about RPGs or flying out of zone.
You can sprint for more than 10 seconds without running into an enemy or seeing a scope glint.
It's like a breath of fresh air after playing every other map, including Mirak Valley.
I think EVERYONE, is going to be playing almost exclusively on Eastwood solely based on how much larger it is and accommodating to different play styles.
I also love the insane amount of destruction and density of buildings on the map. It's absolutely astounding how much destruction is on it! And yet it plays perfectly fine when buildings are leveled! This map HAS TO BE the bar for destruction going forward. It's clear that the team behind the BR map, made this map too!
Driving tanks through entire houses is AMAZING!
I would argue that the only thing the map is missing, is Jets, but Jets feel like a massive afterthought in BF6 so I'm not even gonna argue for them.
