Eastwood is a FANTASTIC medium sized map!

I hope every future map for BF6 is the same size as Eastwood or bigger. In fact, I'd say Eastwood should've been bigger and it shows that Eastwood was actually shrunk based on how large each HQ is. Each HQ itself could've been another objective. The golf course area could've been expanded and that too could've been its own HQ for vehicle combat. Despite the obvious shrinking of the play space, Eastwood is still the best map in Battlefield 6 hands down.

The air vehicle boundary area is not suffocating like the New York map, you can actually fly for 10 seconds without worrying about RPGs or flying out of zone.

You can sprint for more than 10 seconds without running into an enemy or seeing a scope glint.

It's like a breath of fresh air after playing every other map, including Mirak Valley.

I think EVERYONE, is going to be playing almost exclusively on Eastwood solely based on how much larger it is and accommodating to different play styles.

I also love the insane amount of destruction and density of buildings on the map. It's absolutely astounding how much destruction is on it! And yet it plays perfectly fine when buildings are leveled! This map HAS TO BE the bar for destruction going forward. It's clear that the team behind the BR map, made this map too!

Driving tanks through entire houses is AMAZING!

I would argue that the only thing the map is missing, is Jets, but Jets feel like a massive afterthought in BF6 so I'm not even gonna argue for them.

  • Crappy map for team death match. Spawns are all over the place, ranges are too long for the insanely high recoiling guns in game, the interiors are pitch black looking from the outside in so if you're outside you'd at a big disadvantage due to the poor lighting system.

There is Conquest where the map is an okay medium sized map but the vehicles are so weak, who cares? Conquest is a dead mode. The IFV's gun still drops more than a 9mm pistol. Its useless, and vehicle on vehicle fights never end by each other's hand.

Until the fix vehicles the only modes that matter are TDM and Domination.

  • At the moment, all I can say is that I can't see the map because the update causes CTD. As you can see, their new update only ruins the game and doesn't improve anything.

  • I'm actually enjoying the core jet gameplay in this game. Just wishing we get some reasonably large maps in the future

  • Having some fun with this map but there is room for improvement. 2/4 maps I joined ended up in a near spawn camp with one side barely holding the objective just outside of their spawn. That needs to be fixed.

This is a map that doesn’t need or warrant any attack helicopters.  You know DICe, that in previous BF games every map doesn’t have every vehicle that’s in game. The Blackhawks are perfect and there should be 2 per team.  It’s absolutely deflating and morale crushing having magical Helos, that make no noise, being only feet overhead and destroying players with ZERO warning because of dollar store sound design. How can we not hear enemy helicopters 10 feet overhead but we can hear 3 dozen other sound minor effects?

Potentially great infantry v infantry small scale battles at objectives all over the map are ruined by helicopters and tanks that magically appear feet away without making any noise.   FIX YOUR SOUND PRIORITIZATION please DICE.

The non stop chaos and constantly being killed without warning because of dollar store sound design is not fun and this doesn’t feel like the Battlefield I’ve been playing for almost 20 years.

Objective B for Conquest on this map has a lone  shipping container for cover and that’s it so unless you’re in there you’re getting sniped or killed by tanks or a helicopter that are  100 yards away. This shotty map design does not encourage defenders having to PTFO.

All in all a decent map but the fundamental flaws in sound design, too many tanks, the unnecessary attack helo along with lack of cover on Objective B kills a lot of the potential fun infantry game play.
