Good game, but what could it have been?

As i go back and play the old battlefield games i become even more disappointed in this game . However battlefield 6 is still a. Great game. I have enjoyed it but its definitely not like the older games, way smoother gameplay Now and better graphics but what else?

between the minor details.,. Animations…. Mass destruction … weather impacts.. i dont get why you have to downgrade your new games compared to older titles… like if yall would have combined all these great features everyone liked from older titles between maps, guns ,animations.. you would have an absolute amazing game…. Not to mention the fact you had to speed your pace up welll now your somewhere between battlefield and call of duty at this point causing yourself alot of og fans… your older games were amazing .. the movement included just needed smoothed out like bf4 game speed was perfect speed but clunky before ….now its like a slightly slower mw3 2023 speed

this game could have been absolutely perfect

left to wonder.

doesn't matter how great the next season maps and content are …..no reason for the lack of og content to this game along with it.

This DICE team is too arrogant to listen.
Unfortunately game could have been GOATED but too many core BF pillars are missing. Matchmaking is useless, server allocation is inadequate. Core game mechanics don't inspire teamwork and weapon balance is terrible. The focus is on micro transactions and not a balanced BF experience.
I hope the new Saudi owners identify the issues and bring BF back to its prime, because what weve seen from the current teams is a slap in the face to fans and a stain on the Battlefield legacy.

Guns sounded so much better on bf4 and 3 even with war tapes on this one.. not sure if that has to do with dolby or what… but they just do especially the pistols… 🤦🏻‍♂️

I would absolutely agree i rly enjoyed this game but man what it could have been though? Just shows me what to expect now…. Sadly.. id rather go play 2042 even at this point… i been on bf4 non stop recently….. but im done with this game i might not even care to check their upcoming maps out…. Between all the issues you mentioned to the lack of og classic maps from bf3-4 and bf bc 2…. To on and on….. sooo on to the next game if i even buy that at this point they have completely disregarded their actual og fan base and players like such disrespect to those who have always bought, played , enjoyed their games and stuck with them makes me literally not want to buy or play anything they put out again….. its just crazy to me ig they want streamers and cod only players to come over but they will figure it out when their next game doesn’t achieve this success or even come close.. simply how they have treated their actual player base from all these years

They could have doubled down on what made BF great, and still tried to lure players from rivals.
Leaving out squad requisition, squad leader perks is crazy. Not prioritising one voice channel is another fumble. Current setup doesnt encourage teamwork, nor does it encourage community.
Redsec was pretty good but nothing new, its been done before. They should have thought outside the box and created something unique. (They took standard quads away from us Australians/Oceania months ago, without warning or reason) plus console cant join ranked so thats a massive part of the game just removed for us here.
Matchmaking is terrible, you cant get consistent good games, no choice. Majority of time youre put on a side with 3x real players compared to the opposition, where's the sense in that?
They fired a massive amount of devs and staff shortly after launch, well before the basic bugs were fixed. Thats just ridiculous and unprofessional. All whilst beating their chests on social media. Its arrogance and incompetence. And from here, after they left BFV unfinished and left, 2042 was a **bleep** (dont consider it a BF game) Call of Battlefield fits better, and now the **bleep**show that is BF6. I can guarantee the majority of OGs wont preorder ever again. Its a wait and see.

RIP Battlefield.
