Hardcore Mode – Why It Deserves Its Own Menu Section
Hardcore is, in every respect, more fun and better than the “Base” game, and it’s a shame that more players don’t play it. But the reason isn’t that they choose not to — whenever I recruit someone new on Discord, they enjoy it, and 90% of them tell me they didn’t even know Hardcore existed. This is exactly why Hardcore needs its own dedicated section in the menu. Every mode should have its own HC space, not just the portal where they sit empty.
Why Hardcore Is Better
- Community
Everyone sticks to their roles, and every pick has a real impact on the entire match. The beacon is the alpha and omega of tactical play, smokes are used, ammo crates matter, and the whole team cooperates to take down a tank. In standard gameplay, this is pure utopia. - Weapons
There are no “meta builds,” nor the annoying ADHD kids who chase and abuse them. Everyone plays the weapon that feels right in their hands, because every weapon is competitive — unlike in the base game. - No Minimap or Markers
This forces players to use their brains and a compass. It adds a whole new tactical dimension and a lot of fun. - Friendly Fire
Just like above, it forces players to think instead of spraying blindly, adding another essential tactical element. (Plus, you can remove players who glitch or hoard vehicles without contributing — divine!) - Slower and More “Battle-Dad Friendly” Gameplay
Not everyone is 9–15 years old anymore. The ADHD movement, flashy colors, and toxic behavior quickly push older players away. Their interest in an otherwise well-designed game dies fast. We want a place where we can think and where tactics win over primitive run-and-gun gameplay — a dedicated Hardcore section'
