Totally agree. Its like these devs dont remember they tried this back in Battlefield 2 along with that dolphin dive. The dolphin dive ended up being an exploit and to counter it everyone was jumping like rabbits.

As a community we pleaded with them just to remove it all. The majority of us didnt want to play like that.

So Patch 1.2 in Battlefield 2 removed the ability to shoot when jumping and removed the dolphin dive exploit.

The game then became a shooter and not a pakour survival game. Which is what battlefield 6 is now.

These devs are Call of Duty fanbois and is why we have a Call of Duty game with vehicles and methamphetamine movements.

its for sure for me: this will be the last BF ever I bought. Been playing it since BF2. Not only BFCOD style but also the players who cant behave, trash talk etc. Apperantly the cod beta is even worse else they would stay there. Too bad, it could have been great but making profit is more important then creating a decent game

The bunny hopping-slide-360-turn-in mid air- while shooting with perfect accuracy trash is ABSOLUTE CANCER to the franchise.

There are numerous reasons why BF1 will always be the best BF ever made.

DICE today chase trends instead of setting them. They chase COD and waste millions on BR.

DICE’s  opus magnum is BF1.   all associated core mechanics are there for the taking via replicating the BF1 experience in another game. Instead Neu DICE seem to do their best to distant the Neu Battlefield from all things Battlefield, it’s truly mind boggling.

  • To me, redsuck existing at all is one of the primary problems making it too much like CoD.  They're, well, they're SUPPOSED to be balancing the game, and towards that end things like weapons and player movement play a large part in that.  When you have multiple, quite different, game modes, it becomes insanely hard to balance well.

In Redsuck, movement is going to be a giant part of the game.  All this turbo booty bouncing action works well in Redsuck, when you're always on the move and can't sit in the same spot for very long.  In regular gameplay, where it's a game about taking and defending objectives, this kind of movement feels like absolute CANCER because it always gives the benefit to the player who is chasing kills, bouncing their booty across the map not paying any attention to actual gameplay, just as a modern attention deficit zoomer wants.
