Let’s be honest… infantry in Battlefield 6 feels terrible
First problem: Switching between your primary and secondary weapon feels really slow. This also applies when you use a gadget and then try to switch back to your primary or secondary weapon—it just takes too long.
Second problem: Visibility. Player skins blend in too much with the ground and surroundings, making enemies hard to spot—especially when they’re prone. This issue is even more noticeable on maps like Liberation Peak and New Sobek City. I believe this is also related to the color grading being too warm.
Third problem: The animation from prone to standing is too slow. I know the devs have fixed or updated it multiple times, but the difference doesn’t feel significant.
Fourth problem: There are too many gun attachments. To unlock them, you have to farm XP instead of leveling them up through kills like in Battlefield 2042. Why do gun attachments require up to level 40, while vehicle loadouts only go up to level 20?
Fifth problem: The Engineer’s repair ability is too fast. MBTs and IFVs become overly durable when multiple Engineers are repairing them from behind. This is especially noticeable on maps like Siege of Cairo, where it’s very hard to destroy these vehicles because so many Engineers are constantly repairing them.
