I agree with your suggested additions! They would make the gameplay more dynamic. I mainly play breakthrough and I agree the maps need to be larger. The area between the spawn and target sector needs to be wider to help eliminate a lot of the vehicle camping, and larger maps = more buildings so they could tweak the destruction to allow us to level building. Of course more play area would lead to more space for campers to set up and not play the objective but I feel thats a player problem that all online shooters are going to face at this point.
To your point about feeling like CoD, they need to make the constant jumping sevearly hinder your accuracy regardless of your weapon / attachments, cause theres nothing more annoying than seeing that guy jumping around every corner then t-bagging after he kills you like he's all that.
The thing i miss the most with larger maps is having the opportunity to break a stalemate by grabbing your squad and flanking or trying a different approach to the objective. I know conquest has somewhat larger maps but its still very chaotic and most games end in a landslide for one team so it's not fun for me. Escalation is a cool concept with removing points but I wish the meter didn't fill so quickly so the games would be longer. I remember BFBC2 having games that went 40-60 minutes if it was tightly contested and that longest games I've had in BF6 are around 28 minutes
