REDSEC Weapon And Vehicle Balance Feels Inconsistent
With all respect, I want to give feedback about REDSEC balance.
Some weapon and vehicle interactions feel inconsistent right now. Sniper headshots can hit for around 168–175 damage and still not instantly down a player, but an Engineer’s guided rocket launcher can hit someone in the legs and instantly drop them. That feels strange from a balance standpoint.
Some regular weapons also feel weak compared to others. There are guns where you have to dump almost a full magazine to down one player, while DMRs feel much more reliable and consistent. Because of that, a lot of players feel pushed into using the same few weapons instead of having real variety.
Vehicles also need better counters, especially in Battle Royale / Covert. If an IFV or armored vehicle can only be damaged by anti-tank rockets or Engineer rockets, players can feel helpless without the right class or equipment. I understand vehicles may be removed from Ranked, but other modes still need better ways to fight them.
I am not asking for the game to be easy. I just think damage, headshot value, weapon identity, and vehicle counters should feel more consistent.
A lot of us love Battlefield and want REDSEC to succeed. The game has great moments, but some balance choices feel hard to understand right now.
