Tbh i use it sometimes because I simply don’t have the time to unlock everything. I just play for fun and I wanna use the guns I like.
They need solo/coop with everything already unlocked with 0 progression so you and others who want to chill and shoot turkeys can do so without it messing up progression integrity.
well xp tokens also mess up progression integrity, i bought the phantom edition and pre ordered the game which meant i got 2 and a half hours of 2 xp tokens that a lot of other playas didn't well by your standard that would be wrong as well.
people choosing to play against bots doesn't impact progression integrity, they still play the game and still have the same grind as you. if anything if they play against real players it makes them a worse player overall.

These bots just stand still and let you shoot them in the face, they might aswell not have guns.
And xp boosts do not artificialy inflate your stats.
Game out for a week and you rationalize exploiting by arguing you don't have enough time to unlock stuff normally, this is hilarious.
I'm going to guess that you are a person at school or unemployed, most people in full time work do not have 15 hours per gun to unlock every attachment, most people don't have 2 hours a day to play if in full time work, lets not even think about people that also have kids who play BF when they might get a chance.
i myself, i am in full time work, but don't have kids, i do work with people like me who do have kids and they might get 1-2 hours in a single week, heck i know people who don't get that in a month.
so yes i do condone people using bots to play to have fun and unlock the stuff in the game, why?
simply because they ALSO BOUGHT THE GAME and portal was designed to allow people to play BF in the way they wanted to, to create experiences they like to play, and you know what some people just love bots
Wrong, there is time-based XP in Portal for a reason, Portal was not made for progression exploits.
