Team names are for?

Teams (4 players) have names, why have names if there is no commander or way to see them until the end? 

How can there be any coordination?

For example teams Alpha, Bravo move on to second attack site while team Charlie holds what we have just taken. Without Commander this can't happen. Instead every team just runs around and sometimes not even with a team. Having a player Commander send coms and give orders makes a much better fighting force. And the disarray there would be if they were killed in combat... Epic.

2142 had this feature. Why have team names if they cannot be used? 🤨
