PVP gaming is pointless, and will be from now on. This EA title just proved it.
They will not do what is needed to make the game good, because they know the lowest common denominator will stop playing it.
If you take away the controller babies aim assist/aimbot... they will revolt. If they allow PC players to shut off crossplay and NOT play against anyone on controller, console or PC... then NO PC PLAYER WILL EVER PLAY WITH CONTROLLER PEOPLE AGAIN.
If they ban all the hackers (and there are probably hundreds of thousands) then they won't go buy new accounts. I ran into at least 1 hacker in almost every redsec run I made today. Literally making it pointless to play.
I just hit rank 200... and I'm thinking of uninstalling.
I know brother and that is why I yet again took the time to post, even though I know it doesn't matter on the end. It's so sad. I've been playing battlefield since I was 14 and I've always enjoyed it up until BFV. Something happened there and the game has become progressively worse since then.
I know the cheating is rampant because you get beemed the second you poke a square inch of your head out of cover, all the time. The the publisher only cares about player numbers so they're not going to do anything about it, that's a fact. Just look at cod, it's just a cesspool at this moment.
I really can't see the issue with giving us an option to turn of crossplay, hell, BF4 and BF1 still has multiple populated servers and those games are 10+ years old now.
Getting to lvl 200 is truly an achievement in this game, well done. Personally I'm struggling to play more than a couple of rounds. Solo without at least 1 friend, no way...
