This is why EOMM needs to go.

Because war isn’t fair.

Ok, jokes aside… Players will naturally move from server to server, without the need of a rigged matchmaking system. We only need a good server browser and a non-AI augmented matchmaking. (We also need QoL updates for clan matchmaking so they don’t get separated after every match. But we all know it’s due to eomm rigged system… right?)

The point is: are you a bad player? Then you will learn nothing playing against someone weaker than you. Get stomped by the veterans and learn something instead of looking for some kind  of help from a matchmaking system.

And to DICE I’ll say this: if I’d been aware of the presence of a system like eomm, I wouldn’t have bought the game. Is this a threat? No. Will this system ruin your player base in the long run. You can bet your DICE-please back bone it will.

Good luck everyone.

It was said by David Sirland, a lead producer of the game.

They say it’s not invasive and prioritize ping, but that’s obviously not true considering the amount of player having networking problems.

It’s full of evidence, you just can’t see them. Don’t know why. If you don’t draw the boundaries of the game you want, someone else will do it for you. Today is eomm, tomorrow is advertising inside the game menus. Probably already happened.

This idea that "networking problems" are caused by matchmaking is such a weird leap in logic to begin with. These are two separate issues.

You're free to show your evidence if you have it, but if that requires me to see things that simply aren't there, then that would make it difficult to ever believe you.

Separated? How? If I play from EU in a EU server full of USA players I’ll experience network problems, like not registered shots, ….

So matchmaking is related to network.

That's simple, because the matchmaker doesn't put USA players in EU servers unless they use a VPN.

It still applies within the same region. If you play in a server near you, your performance are higher. So matchmaking is related to network.

If your argument is that playing on a server that's closest to you, means that you get better performance, then you've just contradicted yourself. Matchmaking prefers to match you to servers with the lowest ping. So the matchmaker is actually helping you.

It's still a logical error though. Because netcode related errors such as hit detection issues or dying behind corners still happen even if you have low ping. This means the actual reason must be something else.

So I'll reiterate. The two are unrelated.

Sorry but I can’t understand what your saying. Let’s pretend matchmaking only works based on latency (which I’m sure is not because developer confirmed it, such as David Sirland). Then those kind of errors are more frequent if you are on a distant server. This means the two are actually related issues.
