I got the code before the game came out and it was an Xbox code from Walmart and my pre-order is for PS5. Been trying to have them fix this but they are now saying that EA has to fix this. I'm calling @*%^$%#@ on Walmart crappy customer service.
Sony won't do anything with this and I know that so hopefully EA can get this resolved.

This is NOT resolved as Walmart told us to reach out to EA and you are saying that there is nothing that you can do?
Community ManagerI'm sorry to say, we're not able to get a code to you. It is the retailer's responsibility to make sure you get the right code.
Then you might need to let them know that as I called them three times and they said to contact EA about this which I am doing.
I have the same issue hopefully Walmart does the right thing and sends out new codes that works for PS5 they have all our emails they need to make this right
Exactly and maybe give us something more as I'm getting tired of this crap. Just give us the code and we'll be happy.

Are you / The EA team aware of the issue and enabling Wal Mart to provide us with new codes? Their view is that they get the codes from EA so if EA gives them the wrong code, there's nothing they can do.

Understood. Who should we be putting Walmart in contact with at EA so they can resolve this? As they continue to maintain that they can only get codes from EA. Seems like an issue impacting a broad number of users would be something EA was interested in resolving.
