Can I fix this in the app?
I bought battlefield 6 on my PC through steam. I later also bought it again on Xbox one through the Xbox store. When I loaded it on Xbox, the game populated with my stats from playing on the PC. I purchased it on there so my daughter and I could play together, but it will not let us play or login to the game at the same time. It always kicks one of us off when the other one logs into the game . How do I fix this? Can I simply unlink the Xbox from my EA Account and create and link a new EA account to that Xbox, Or will that require me to buy the game a third time? Do I need to get a refund for the Xbox purchase of battlefield 6 on the Xbox first before unlinking the Xbox from my Electronic Arts account? I don't know what to do or where to start... I would just like her to be able to play on the Xbox with her own stats and kick one of us off The game when the other logs in. Please help.
Hey Felt0n,
It sounds like everything is connected to the same EA account, which is causing your issues. You could unlink your Xbox and link it to a new EA account, but that would mean that you lose all of your progress in your EA Xbox games as they're linked on the EA account level.
If you have no intention of playing Battlefield 6 on Xbox yourself, it might be a better idea to see if you can get a refund from Xbox, and then make a separate EA and Xbox account for your daughter and buy it there.
I hope that's clear! If you have more questions, don't be afraid to ask. 🙂
