At this point, we’ve ruled out the install itself, the OS version, drivers, and standard compatibility settings. Since the app can run when Windows intervenes, the remaining variable is the Windows user profile.
As a final test, I’d recommend creating a new local Windows admin account and trying to launch the EA app from there:
- Go to Settings → Accounts → Other users
- Add a new local account
- Set it as an Administrator
- Sign into that new account
- Install and launch the EA app
If the app works normally on a fresh admin account, that confirms something specific to your original Windows profile (permissions, cached policies, background hooks) is blocking the app from launching correctly.
If it doesn’t work there either, then we’ve exhausted the reasonable troubleshooting paths available here.
