Hi Shanice712,
We were hoping you could help us out by running an EA app Error Report so we can take a look. When you have the chance, please use the steps below to run the EA Error Reporter. These steps will allow you to run it without having to run the EA app itself:
- Go to Start or press the Windows key on your keyboard, and enter EA Error Reporter.
- Alternatively, you can copy and paste the following path into the Windows Explorer address bar: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
- Once you’re in the folder, select the ErrorReporter application.
- Choose the Type of problem you’re having.
- Tell us about the issue you’re having in the Description of problem field.
- Check the box next to By clicking this box, you agree to share diagnostic information with EA.
- Click Submit report and wait for it to complete.
- Copy and save your Report ID for safekeeping.
Once you have the Report ID that you got in step 6 above, please reply to this thread and include it in your response.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have filed an error report 01325d3e-f241-4de8-b216-2ff945094a5a because I've been getting this error or EC 201 for two weeks! No modes installed, have reset router, cleared cache, reset DNS cache. Uinstalled and reinstalled. So much money invested in an game I can't even play and when I click the Sims 4 icon instead of the EA app it randomly works for 1 save! Silly and upsetting aftr the update.
Please help clear this - thanks!
