[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online

Hi everyone,

Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account.

To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply:

  1. Your region/country of residence
  2. Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions")
  3. Are you using a VPN?
    • If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again.
  4. Your EA app Error Reporter ID

Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause.

    I am getting this at the moment and may have had it a few months ago but haven't used EA through Game Pass for a while. 

    My response to the 4 points is:

     

    1.  Australia
    2. No
    3. No
    4. It's a bit hard to log into an app to get something when you can't log into it.

    For some reason I was able to log into the forums using my Xbox profile, but all other access points to my EA account are unavailable because of this issue.

    I get this when using mobile for the verification code. 

     

    And I get no error but no email when I use the email method.

    Now the forum is no longer available so have had to create another profile.

    I also cant link my EA account with GOG. I live in Brasil and aint using any VPN.
