***POTENTIAL FIX FOR EA APP PREPARING TO LAUNCH***
I've just gotten off live support for the second time and the advisor has given me this recommendation, I can confirm that it has solved my issue and I am able to launch the game as normal. Solution below.
For people using EA app try this - Create a new admin user for windows and launch EA app (your games and EA App should still be installed depending on which drive you installed them on) - your game should launch and play as normal. Once this is done you can go back to your main account and launch from there. It may ask you to choose a save point (Be it local or cloud save) I *don't* think it matters which BUT I did click local save because people are having issues with one drive. After this the game should launch fine. If it doesn't you may need to contact EA support.
