Hi @rabbitalien Do you get any error messages when you attempt to launch DA? Also, can we start by trying the following?
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Verify the game in your Steam library
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
MATE, I tried one billion different fixes I found around the web from both EA, and other players and absolutely nothing I ever did worked out so I just uninstalled the game and got myself a refund. when EA fix the problem, that it's obviously coming from THEIR side, I may re-consider buying this game again. I also recommend everyone to do the same: uninstall and get your refund. EA won't do anything unless they start getting hurt where it matters: their pockets.
bye
So, I just recently bought Inquisition via steam and went through the hoops to download it right. Got the EA app, signed in, everything was good to go....or so I thought. I can't seem to get the game to play in offline mode. And it's not just Inquisition, it's DA2 as well. Went to all the troubleshoot pages i could find and they all say to turn Origin/the EA app to offline mode and you should be good. Tried that, not working, someone help please?

@Silver_Bastion Do either game fail to launch or do you get an error message? It fails to launch.
I'm having the same issue as OP. Game (DA2) doesn't launch; click the button and nothing happens.

Hi @bigdaddybrose @Silver_Bastion Can we start by trying the following if you have not so far?
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair Games (Go to My Collection > Select the tile Dots > Repair)
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
@EA_Illium I've tried the cache clearning, does nothing. There is no option to repair game when I looked for it, possibly because I bought the game through Steam and maybe that made the EA app belive that the repair game option wasn't viable or something. And there aren't any other active applications running while I try to launch the game. Unless there are background processes that might negate the app to function, I'm out of ideas

Hi @Silver_Bastion Apologies for it being owned on Steam I should have linked you how to Verify the game in your Steam library.
If that doesn't help try the following:
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
I've tried just about everything. I bought this game on Steam to replay after not playing for a long time and recently building a new computer, and this game just won't load.
It pulls up the EA App, tries to load (no screen changes, just my cursor loading animation) then the EA App disappears for a second and pops back up. Running through Steam does the same. With Origin, the same again, just with the Origin App disappearing and reappearing after a few seconds.
I've tried:- Running it directly from Desktop, Steam, EA App, and Origin App
- Running as Administrator
- Disabling Full Screen Optimization Settings
- Windows Anti Virus exception for DAI.exe, and both exe's for EA App (I don't have any other antivirus)
- Clean Boot and then trying to run the game
- Uninstalling and Reinstalling
- Restarting PC multiple times
- Repairing Files (Verifying files through Steam)
- Reinstalling both DirectX and all Redist in DAI folder
No matter what I do, this game won't load. It doesn't even seem to begin running.
