The Sims 4 - stuck on cancelling repair!

Hi!

Since the latest March update, my game has been buggy (I have a lot of cc and mods). I needed to do a repair as it was failing to launch and getting stuck on the loading page - I think it may have to do with the XML Injector and career mods that I just added. So I went to repair the game, I then forgot that I had done that, and whilst it was running I removed the XML Injector and careers 😶 I then decided to cancel the repair and it's been stuck cancelling it for 2 hours 🙃 Does anyone have any bright ideas how to either stop the cancel or reboot the EA app? Anything apart from deleting the game and reinstalling 😅
