Trying to play FC 26 EA App wont install?

Hi all.

I have been playing EA Sports FC 26 through Steam, but when it goes to install the

EA App, I keep getting an error, and I cannot install the EA App

Here is a screenshot of the error...

I really hope someone anyone lol can help me install the EA App so I can continue 

on playing my games.

    Hey Sti0R8​, 

    If you haven't already, please try the following troubleshooting steps: 

    1. Delete any remaining installation files:
      C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop
      C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop
    2. Make sure your Windows OS is up to date 
    3. Restart your PC (clean boot) 
    4. Temporarily disable your antivirus or Windows Defender 
    5. Download the EA App installer from the official website
    6. Run the EA App installer as administrator 
    7. Install the app using the default path (C: drive, not an external drive!) 


    Let us know if the error persists, and we can continue from there.
