Turkey Players Facing Sims 4 Purchase Error 54001 on EA app (Aug. 2025)

The fact that I could buy the Enchanted by Nature expansion pack a month ago without any errors shows that this is definitely related to the August sale. What's weird is that I can purchase an EA Play membership or buy bundles HOWEVER I get the #54001 error code when I try to buy any kits or packs. It's also definitely not related to the payment methods as I tried many debit cards and credit cards, both had Visa or Mastercard variations.

I aalso have the same problem that's very annoying. EA never deals with the existing problems unfortunately I'll try to use social media with my 70K followers accounts they've mght take us serşously.

I've been having the same problem since the August discounts. I contacted live support. They couldn't solve the problem and just kept passing it around. In the end, they said they had reported it and left. I still have a written record of the chat. Weeks have passed since that chat, and the problem is still ongoing! I’ve tried everything multiple times, even creating a new account on another computer. I intended to complete the packages, but I ended up wasting my money and getting stuck in the middle. I wish Steam had Mac OS support so I wouldn’t have to deal with the amateurish nonsense of the EA App.

Hey, I'm not sure if you still have the issue. I had something similar. I removed the payment method and still. I successfully purchased the kits using a VPN. I set it to France as I am in Turkiye and it worked. I am not sure which country you are in. However, it appears that there may be a sales issue depending on the country. FYI, I am usually not in Türkiye. Hope it helps.

Same issue. 54001 error code. I tried everything they told me to do but nothing works. They told me to post in this forum since they have nothing else to do. I do not understand what an unprofessional company is this. I changed my payment method which I used for many years in ea app, I cleared the caches but nothing works. 

no one is taking care of this issue. What a unprofessional company. 

I cannot purchase anything from the app for many days now. It says Error Code 54001. I changed the payment method but still nothing. 

Any solutions?
