Email address on EA account no longer valid

All I wanted was to play The Sims 4 on my MacBook when I'm away from my PS5, but when I logged into the EA app on my Mac with my PS account, it didn't transfer my progress. Not only that, but I couldn't even unlink it because that would entail a confirmation link to an email that I don't even use anymore. I have tried to change said email, but it keeps needing confirmation, and I literally don't use that email anymore because it's been deleted. I have tried to speak to EA beyond the standard AI chat, but again, they ask for confirmation through the deleted email before they can transfer me to a real advisor. How can I resolve this and have full control over my EA account and successfully transfer my Sims progress from my PS5 to my Mac?

(CM Edit: title changed for clarity)

    Hi hairy_sallyVI,

You wouldn't be able to transfer game data from your PS5 to Mac, since your game progress is linked to your PlayStation and The Sims 4 doesn't suppport cross platform progression.

As for your issue with the email address, you would need to reach back out to EA support and tell them that you no longer have access to the email address on your EA account. They can then try and verify you as the owner of the account through different means.

Keep in mind that you will be asked for various information about your EA account so make sure you have as much information ready as possible.

You can find some useful information on getting access to your EA account here.

  • Hi, thank you for being clear about game progression. As for EA support, I have spoken to a few advisors for the past few hours and have gotten no where. They say to open one of their games on my console and there should be pop up prompts to guide me through reseting my account details, except no prompts show up. Every single advisor said the same thing to me and apparently there ins't another way to gain full control over my EA account. It's so frustrating how useless the support section is. I've been trying to find a number to call so I can talk to an actual person without getting some automated bs copy and paste answers, but it doesn't seem to exist.
