Restored deleted email, now won't receive verification code.

I recently deleted the email to my main EA account. I have restored it since because I have forgetten my password and also want to change the email. The problem is that I am still not getting the password reset or verification emails sent to that address. I am able to log in with my linked google account, but I don't have any EA passwords saved on any email accounts. 

Can someone please suggest what I should do to receive the verification and reset emails (or any EA email for that matter)? I have already checked the spam folder and there is nothing there.
