EA Play Pro Membership Problem – Wrong Card Charged

Hello, I updated my payment method for my EA Play Pro membership, but EA tried to charge a removed or invalid card. This caused an error and I am being unfairly affected. This is not my fault. I kindly ask for my EA Play Pro membership to be reinstated at the previous price and for this issue to be reviewed by someone who can resolve it. Thank you.

    Apparently, my issue was “resolved” even though nothing was actually fixed — I guess that’s what passes for customer support here. The real comedy is that there’s clear injustice and incompetence, yet somehow we, the customers, are the ones punished for it. Honestly, it feels less like dealing with a modern company and more like living back in medieval Europe. :D

  • Exact same thing just happened to me. Wrong,old credit card charged despite being updated by me a month ago. And now,with 3 days left for early access to FC26, I've received a failed subscription warning with wrong,old card being used by system. I've opened a case now. Hope it gets fixed. Is there any update with your situation?

    Unfortunately, they told me there was no mistake on their side and claimed the issue was caused by me, even though I had updated my payment details correctly a month before. They basically said they won’t fix it, which is really unfair

    Yeah, I managed to communicate through live chat. In my case, they haven't found me mistaken or wrong but simply said that they can't do anything about it, it's a completely automatic progress etc.

    They also rejected my demand for compensation of missing chance acquaring FC26 10% cheaper through EA Play membership trusting their system would use my current credit card and not the old one and my membership would continue. I just demanded a coupon or discount and it's rejected.

    Looks like we’re all in the same “automatic system” boat. Funny how EA’s system never fails when it comes to charging money, but when it fails us, suddenly “nothing can be done.” Dear EA, if your system is so “automatic” that it cancels loyal customers’ memberships and refuses to honor the price you confirmed by email, maybe the problem isn’t with us—it’s with your system. We’ve done our part.

    I have bought EA Play Pro for a month, but i still didn't receive my 2000 FC points. Can you help me with my vanished FC points? Thank you for your time.

    Next month you’ll get your 2000 FC Points, and then another 2000 the month after that — that’s how it’s supposed to be credited. But hey, with EA you never know… they might try to trick you ;)
