Unlink xbox account from EA account, link to another account, and keep saves

I recently got Xbox Gamepass and would like to use EA Play on PC. The Xbox account is linked to an accidental EA account (which is this account here), rather than the normal PC account I use on Origin. The accidental account has saves on it from mass effect and dragon age inquisition, which I would like to keep.

Could someone please help me transfer my game data to my existing Origin account, and link the xbox account?

    Hey @Amyxxz unlinking of an account will result in all in-game progress being lost.

    If the progress is important to you then I would recommend that you do not unlink.

    Sorry to say @Amyxxz but it is not possible to transfer content such as in-game items and progress between accounts.

    Thanks for your reply. For example, I am playing Mass Effect legendary edition and my progress seems to be saved on the Xbox's Microsoft account, same for Star Wars Squadrons. If I unlink the xbox account from my accidental EA account, and link it to another, will I keep that progress?

    I believe it will wipe the Dragon Age Inquisition account (linked to Dragon Age Keep), which will be very disappointing, but at least the others should be kept right? Or does it affect every EA game?

    Ok. I appreciate your reply. If I am to keep this account, the problem is, it doesn't actually have a username and password I can use to log into Origin or EA Desktop. The only way I have been able to log into it is through the EA Help page using my xbox account log in. Could you help me to work out how to log into this on PC?

    Hey @Amyxxz the best thing to do is to speak with one of our phone or chat support advisers who will be able to advise you further. 

     

    You can contact our live support at help.ea.com.  

    To  speak with a chat or phone adviser:

    Click on your product Origin

    Then select 'PC

    Manage my Account'

    Can't log in

    Finally, you can choose to begin a chat or request a call back.

    Thanks, unfortunately I have raised 3 tickets so far, all of which have been marked as 'resolved' without someone actually helping me. I will raise another case here, and hopefully can get help.

    Hey @Amyxxz it's best to only make a single case, if you open multiple cases then they will be closed off.

    Just clarifying, I only made 1 case, which was put to resolved multiple times. I raised it again to resume it. I definitely only had a single case number.

    That's an odd one @Amyxxz, can you try a different browser to see if you have the same issue?

    I am trying Edge and Firefox, I am not sure what's supposed to come up, but there is no pop up chat window
