Gameplay Feedback – Tackling Mechanics

Hello EA Sports FC Team,

I’d like to provide some direct feedback regarding gameplay.

Currently, when a defender commits to a tackle and completely misses, they are able to recover and attempt another tackle almost instantly with the same player. This reduces the reward for successful dribbling and feels unrealistic. A missed tackle should carry a stronger penalty or recovery delay to better reflect real football and improve skill-based gameplay.

At times, the gameplay can feel less responsive to player input, especially in high-intensity moments. It can feel like I’m playing against the game itself rather than purely competing against the opponent, which can be frustrating.

Please consider:

Adding a longer recovery time after missed tackles

Rewarding successful dribbling more consistently

Improving overall responsiveness and balance so outcomes better reflect player skill

I believe these changes would greatly improve fairness, realism, and overall player experience.
