Could the option of authentic gameplay be added for online matches and seasons? At least have the option to choose. I'd like to play against friends or people in simulation mode (seasons already let you filter if you want to play in manual mode, so it wouldn't be so difficult to do).
EA, give us options, don't limit your game!
Why shouldn’t you be able to switch between modes? If anything then just make online realistic not arcade. I really don’t see why seasons would be arcade. I can see modes like mystery ball but you have different modes so just add two different modes online.
That way people who want arcade gameplay with mystery ball or rush they can play it. They can even add cars like what’s the other football arcade game with cars? Ea could allow people who want that to play those modes and people who want a realistic experience to play a real version.
I don’t think the authentic gameplay will become available online for several reasons. First, it would split the player base between the two modes, and players wouldn’t settle on a single gameplay style — they would constantly switch between modes.
Second, it might cause issues related to matchmaking speed.
Third, and in my opinion the main reason, is that the developers are already struggling to handle the problems of a single gameplay style. What would happen if there were two different types? Also, online modes put the most pressure on developers, because when players notice a problem, they expect it to be fixed immediately. That’s why I don’t think the developers are ready for this.

That's precisely why I'm asking EA to give us the option to choose between both game modes. Those who want to play the arcade mode can do so, and those who prefer the simulation mode can too. Everyone wins, don't you think? But let me play the simulation mode online, that's all I ask.
I even think arcade gameplay can be fun. Sometimes you just want a casual experience. It just doesn’t make sense to force everyone into playing it. Especially seasons which seems like it’s more of a realistic mode.
I could even see rush or friendlies being arcade. When you are playing mystery ball or what is the other one that removes players when you score but anyway. It doesn’t make sense to have that in all the modes.
I understand what is being said and asked for. IMO I'd rather EA picked one and stuck with it. I am suprised Seasons is not getting authentic anyways. After all, most Seasons players want realistic football.
But, seems to me that EA have decided if UT is going to play this arcade ish competitive style then all online modes will. I am concerned Seasons gameplay will be carnage 200mph football with skillers back on top spamming the life out of them.
I think it would engage a wider audience if the option was available for the authentic play mode to be available for online play, rather than just having online as the hectic end to end play with players just using the OP functions to spam the same scenarios in match play to create chances
Yes please, makes no sense not having the option to use ”authentic” online? What is the purpose of leaving it out? So EA can have it as a ”fan requested feature” in FC 27?
It would be nice to play the beautiful game online rather than arcade mode.
