Career Mode Realism Features - Cut socks, Retirement Options & Visual Details.

Hi EA Sports team,

As a dedicated Player Career Mode fan, I want to first thank you for giving more attention to what the Career Mode community wants this year — it’s a big step forward.

That said, many of us treat Career Mode like a personal footballing journey. We track stats, trophies, and moments over 15 in-game years as if it’s our real career. To take that immersion even further, I’d love to see these small but impactful realism features considered:

Visual Authenticity:
• Cut Socks – A huge part of modern football visuals. Having this as an accessory or toggle would mean a lot, especially for Player Career.
• Sleeve Tightness Options – Tight fit vs loose sleeves like in real life.
• Shin Pad Size & Visibility – Small pads, high socks, visible outlines — small thing, big immersion boost.
• Sock Tape Placement – Around the ankle, shin, or calf depending on preference.
• Tucked/Untucked Shirts – Adds personality and variety.
• Wrist Tape / Hand Tape Customization – Different styles, like Haaland, Bellingham, or Mbappé.

Career Longevity:
• Raise the Age Cap Beyond 15 Seasons – Let us retire naturally based on form, health, or by choice like real players (e.g. Ronaldo still going strong at 39).
• Performance-Based Retirement – Don’t force retirement when the player is still rated 90+, winning trophies, or breaking records.

Player Career-Specific Immersion:
• Captaincy System – Based on leadership, form, time at club, and personality traits.
• Post-Match Interviews / Press Reactions – From a player perspective.
• Trophy Rooms or Legacy Tracker – Visual representation of career trophies, individual awards, and milestones.
• Transfer Negotiations / Loyalty Options – Option to take pay cuts, refuse offers, or return to former clubs as a legend.

These aren’t game-breaking mechanics — they’re small details that would mean the world to Career Mode players who love immersion and storytelling.

We appreciate the work you’ve done already, and just hope the future continues to support the part of the community that plays to live out a dream, not just grind FUT cards.

Thanks again!
— A passionate Career Mode player who tracks it all like it’s real
