Controller Input Issues / Game unplayable
Hello, I've spent at least 20 hours on this game so far and more than half of them on trying to fix the following issue. I checked everything, updated everything, did every option and combination on connectivity, the controller or the graphic settings as well as everything outside the game like in the NVIDIA Control Panel. I connected my PS5 Controller via USB, Bluetooth, nothing worked.
Problem: I play on PC and only in Division Rivals, 95% of the time my controller does weird input movements or stops working altogether. The last days, it was about 80% of the time that my controller stopped working at some point after about 20 ingame minutes. Then it took the last input, like a stick input or a pass and did this for some time, sometimes I could play for some minutes with lags then and then this again or nothing altogether.
Today, an update came, pointing at exactly this problem. As I went ingame, at first the input was just extreeemely delayed for like 3 sec and then it did just weird inputs, which had barely anything to do with mine. Sometimes it even dribbled past some enemies and it was just completely weird and then it stopped working 80% of the time or just did these weird inputs.
Personal Note: 100 Euros on Ultimate Edition, you have to imagine. Ultimate Team makes more money than ALL of the online MMORPGS COMBINED. Nobody of us could possibly imagine measures of the financial possibilites this company is holding. If they decided to invest the money of 20 minutes of which packs are opened into a team fixing issues or better serves, NOBODY here would have issues. The sheer discrepancy between which is more than possible to do and the state of this game is just absolutely unrivaled.
So guys, I've found a solution after all. Following settings:
Everything in NVIDIA and outside of the game OFF, no FPS Cap in NVIDIA or anything that influences that game.
Steam Controller Input OFF.
INGAME: Full Screen, FPS and Refresh Rate on 60 and VSYNC OFF! Thats important, as all similar fixes required VSYNC to be on with these setting combinations. If I tab out, it begins to lag again, to which I turn on borderless and then fullscreen again.
And do the best you can so that ur GPU and CPU are not on 100%. I know the game is as terribly technically optimized as the player support here is bad, but it is what is is. I wish I could help some of you with these solutions.
Note: EA or their Managers here contributed NOTHING to the solution!! They write short answers which are basically copied from other threats and they dont care about the problems of players whats so ever! In this case, they didnt even care to contribute anything at all! Just wanted to clarify this.
