It's happening again since they reverted the R1 dribbling, either intentionally but not said or, more likely, broken again.

Game was in it's best state after the R1 nerf patch but because a bunch of elite's and content creators threw their toys out the pram and, for want of a better description, cried about it like infants we are now back to constant r1 dribble into fidget spin r1 dribble exit.

Along with attacking runs being terrible again, defenders not tracking runs, tackles missing for no reason, passing being dodgy as again and, as you said, defence parting like the red sea.

Actually worse than before the R1 nerf now, unbelievably.
