EA AntiCheat installer deletes payload – manifest mismatch (Steam FC26)

Hi EA team,

I’ve been troubleshooting an ongoing issue where EA AntiCheat will not install properly for EA SPORTS FC 26 (Steam version).

The installer (EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe) runs and reports “Install success”, but it only creates:
C:\Program Files\EA\AC\
with no service subfolder or binaries.

During installation, I briefly see the files
EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe_e and EAAntiCheat.GameService.dll_e
appear in that folder while it says “Starting Resource Extract”, but they are deleted by the installer itself before completion.

Through testing, I have confirmed:

The payload successfully downloads from EA’s CDN.

Permissions, certificates, and Windows services (BITS, WUAUSERV) are all working.

Antivirus, Defender, and Controlled Folder Access are disabled or excluded.

Daemon Tools/SPTD drivers removed.

CryptoPro registry exclusion (CProExclude) tested — no change.

Process Monitor shows no external DeleteFile events; the deletion happens inside EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe after verification.

This indicates a manifest or payload hash mismatch on EA’s backend for the FC26 Steam build. The installer deletes the extracted files after signature verification fails, even though the payload was downloaded successfully.

I have already repeated every Tier-1 step (uninstall, cache clear, repair, reinstall) multiple times as advised by support, but the issue persists.

Could someone from EA_Cade, EA_Illium, or the AntiCheat engineering team please check the current manifest mapping for FC26 on Steam and re-push the correct Easy AntiCheat payload?

I can provide Process Monitor logs or screenshots showing the temporary files disappearing if helpful.
