FC 26 PC doesn’t start
This has been happening for weeks, start the game from the EA App it goes through game starting and Anti cheat updates then crashes straight back to EA App Home Screen.
I have troubleshooted all the things I’ve searched up..
- graphics drivers are up to date,
- Run as Admin
- Repaired the game
- repaired/updated Anti cheat
- uninstalled and re-installed
- checked firewalls
- checked windows shield has all permissions
- checked game compatibility in .exe file
still no luck with being able to start.. what’s my next step buy your game again on a different platform? Utterly ridiculous
any help would be appreciated
So I now have it working. I had AVG free Antivirus software installed and the free version had ran out but the standard version was still operating. I deleted AVG and let the usual Windows and Norton for gamers continue to monitor.
after that FC started up instantly.so if you have different Antivirus running alongside it could be blocking the start up of FC.
