FC 26 Random 1–2 Second Stutters/Hitches Since Recent Update (No FPS Drop)

I've already tried most of the common fixes without any success. I reinstalled FC 26, deleted all FC cache and settings folders, cleared the DirectX shader cache, tested XMP both on and off, changed various NVIDIA Control Panel settings, tried different FPS caps, tested both DX11 and DX12, disabled all overlays, reset the in-game audio settings, and experimented with different graphics settings including Strand-Based Hair. Despite all of this, the random 1–2 second stutters/hitches still occur.

Welcome to the club... you're not the only one. As I've mentioned in other discussions about this same issue, this situation crops up almost every time there's a patch—they break something, and it’s not an issue with your (or our) PC. The only solution is to hope they become aware of the problem and fix it with a patch or a silent patch.

there was absolutely no issues before this patch with the speed lag...all of a sudden with this patch everything changed

I have exactly the same problem after the last patch.
i play on full ultra graphics with 250-300 fps locked and i started getting random lag spikes for no reason.

Any updates on that problem?

Hello mate, there are no updates, and we’re on day 14... no one is responding, even after numerous attempts to tag the admins and several discussions all concerning the exact same problem.

I am having the same issue. I strongly believe the issue is related to EA software.

After launching the game, the first match already has some performance issues, but it gets progressively worse from the second match onward. By the third match, the game is practically unplayable. I have also noticed that, for some reason, the issue seems to be worse in Champions matches.

Closing and reopening the game seems to reset the problem. The first match is bad but playable, the second is worse, and the third is even worse. The issue started after the recent updates as well.

My hardware:

CPU: Intel Core i9-12900H
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12 GB
RAM: 64 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM
Platform: Steam

The hardware is clean, and the thermal paste is in good condition. I have monitored the hardware while playing and found no abnormal performance degradation that would explain this behavior.

Playing has become extremely frustrating. At the moment, the game is only reasonably playable, although still with issues, during the first match. Restarting the game temporarily improves the situation, but the same progressive degradation starts again.
