FC 26 shuts down because EA App gets terminated 4 Weekend League losses today

Since today I have received the error message "FC 26 is shutting down. This is a result of the EA App being terminated" four times. Each time it happened during a match, the game froze after around 10 minutes and then closed, resulting in a loss. I wanted to play Weekend League but instead lost four matches because of this. I also keep experiencing connectivity issues even though my internet connection is not the problem. I have a 10 Gbit per second fiber connection and live in a city, everything else runs perfectly stable. This clearly looks like an EA App or FC 26 issue and not a problem on my side. Is anyone else experiencing this today and is EA aware of this problem?
