Game gets stuck on Hospitality Settings or updates
I am experiencing a persistent issue with EA FC26 on my PS5. The game cannot fully load and gets stuck at one of the following stages:
“Checking for content updates”
“Hospitality Settings – Synchronizing”
Black screen with music playing
I have tried extensive troubleshooting steps including:
1. Rebuilding the PS5 database
2. Clearing all local saved data for FC26
3. Deleting all cloud storage data for FC26
4. Reinstalling the game completely
5. Disconnecting from the internet and launching offline
6. Changing DNS settings
7. Logging in/out of EA account
Despite these steps, the game still cannot load past the menus, and I cannot play. My account has been confirmed as properly linked. The issue appears to be specific to my console, as logging into the same EA account from a friend’s PS5 works without issue.
