How to fix a computer freezing issue after running a game for two minutes
**Internet Disconnect Trick to Bypass the Menu Freeze (Profile Bug)**
There is a known bug in the game that can cause the system to freeze when the game attempts to load your personal profile data from EA's servers in the background about a minute after reaching the main menu.
* Before launching the game, **completely disconnect your PC from the internet** (unplug the Ethernet cable or turn off Wi-Fi).
* Launch the game and proceed through the startup screens until you reach the main menu. The game will start in **offline mode**.
* Wait for **2–3 minutes** to make sure the game does not freeze.
* If the game remains stable, **reconnect your PC to the internet**, then press the in-game button to connect to the EA servers (R3 or **Connect to EA Servers**).
