Input lag since update

Since the latest update, my game has become unplayable on PC, I have tried every which way, with multiple settings, I've looked at online tutorial, I've changed my monitors refresh rate, I've limited FPS, I've had V-sync enabled & disabled, I've changed the aspect ratio, so on & so fourth.

Its gotten to be that no matter what I do, there is a half a second delay with what I'm telling my controller to do & it actually happening in the game & no matter what, I still get lag from corners & from kick off.

Its not my hardware, I specifically built a new PC to modern standards & with every other game I play, there is no issues, its just EA FC 26.

and quite frankly, its making me depressed since this game cost me close to £100.

And now it's too late to get my money back.
