Nine appeals, SAR request, formal complaint and still no explanation
I understand that EA Forums cannot overturn sanctions and that Community Managers are not part of the Terms of Service team.
My concern is no longer only the sanction itself, but the complete lack of transparency surrounding the process.
I have now:
- Submitted 9 appeals
- Contacted EA Help multiple times
- Filed a formal complaint
- Initiated a Subject Access Request (SAR)
Despite all of these efforts, I have never received a substantive explanation regarding what specific activity was identified as Coin Distribution.
I am not a professional player, trader, content creator, or commercial account operator. I am simply a 43-year-old player, an EA customer since 2009, with a full-time job and family responsibilities. Ultimate Team is a hobby that I enjoy when work and family life allow. I do not sell coins, operate multiple accounts, or engage in commercial activity.
What makes this situation even more confusing is that I received an email from EA Customer Relations stating that the sanction had been removed, while EA Help later informed me that the sanction was still active. This contradiction has only increased my confusion.
I am not asking for internal detection methods, enforcement tools, or confidential procedures. I am simply asking for enough information to understand what behaviour or activity led to this decision.
How is it possible that a player can exhaust every available appeal process, submit a formal complaint, initiate a SAR, and still never receive any meaningful clarification?
Is there any channel available after all appeals have been exhausted where a player can request clarification from the Terms of Service team regarding the basis of a sanction?
