This is not true, I have an i7-11800H 8 cores and 16 threads and the issue stills happens, I haven't been able to run in any configuration
Can u tell me ur cpu usage in online games? Cause it might be some other issues that make even a good cpu with 8 cores go in that situation. As I said it's just an assumption, but know if i keep my processor under 95% usage is working just fine. Been able to 3 play games without any issue.
how you did it? you said your cpu only has 4 cores
I've been able to play a couple of games just disabling some services from windows that i dont use (printer, fax, telephone, windows search etc) and uninstalling things like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook etc. Also making sure that you're not running other CPU eater processes like internet browsers, spotify, Discord (for me worked with discord but had some lag spikes tho when i cant move my players just for 1-2 seconds). Also works with whatever refresh rate/fps, but a little bit better with 60 FPS locked and 144hz
My CPU usage is about 60% during game, I never seen it go above 80% in game play 😓
