Ultimate team is unplayable

For the past 9 days FC25 Ultimate Team has been giving me errors saying “Ultimate Team is not possible at this time. You will be returned to the main menu.” It either kicks me out, loads forever, or lets me in briefly before kicking me out after the loading screens.

 

I purchased the Ultimate Edition for FC26 to play Ultimate Team early access, but I’m running into the exact same issues as FC25. Nothing on my end has changed, and in the past I’ve always been able to play without problems. Every other mode works fine (Pro Clubs, Clubs, Online Seasons, etc.). I’ve tested both wired Ethernet and wireless connections, and the result is the same. The issue is only with Ultimate Team.

 

I reached out to customer service and was transferred multiple times. Each time I was told I’d be connected to a specialist, but I kept getting bounced around. At one point I was sent back to the same person I had already spoken with. Eventually someone told me there was nothing they could do, no ETA, and no guidance other than to just wait.

 

I’ve tried multiple troubleshooting methods with no success. When I do get into Ultimate Team, everything is extremely slow and error-prone. For example:

 

  • Trying to open a pack took 6 error messages before it finally opened.
  • Sending items to my club immediately kicked me out of Ultimate Team.
  • I managed to get into one match, but after a few moments I was kicked out with the same error.

 

 

Because of this, I have not been able to enjoy early access at all, even though I purchased the Ultimate Edition specifically for it.

 

I’ve been playing FIFA/FC for as long as I can remember, and my main goal every year is to play with my favorite player, Olivier Giroud, and evolve him in Ultimate Team. I really just want to continue doing that.

 

I’ve already submitted feedback through the early access QR code and even sent a YouTube video showing the issue, but I’m still stuck. Please help me resolve this—I’m begging at this point.

  • I'm having the same issue. I haven't been able to log in since the early access came out. Have not played more than 3 games. No update from EA or even an acknowledgment of what the issue is. I've seen at this point hundreds of people with the same issue. I'm in the Dallas area for reference. Paid for the ultimate edition and EA access. Never had an issue until this game.
