Won the game but didnt count resulting in a loss

I won a division rivals game 8-1, and as the game ended, it was taking me back to the home screen when it disconnected me from the match. I logged back into Ultimate Team to play more games, and the dnf modifier message came up on the screen. This then resulted in my match being lost, but I didn't disconnect from the EA servers; I just got kicked out of Ultimate Team. As a result of this, I lost a checkpoint in my division rivals' progress. This is unfair to me and my gameplay.
