Hello EA community,
I’m experiencing a serious gameplay issue in EA Sports FC 26 on PC, specifically in online modes (Clubs and FUT).
Here is my situation:
- Platform: PC
- GPU: GTX 1650
- RAM: 16 GB
- CPU: Intel i5 9th gen
- Connection: Ethernet (wired, not Wi-Fi)
- Stable FPS (60), no drops
- No overheating (CPU/GPU temperatures are normal)
- Background apps closed
Important details:
- The game runs perfectly offline
- FC 25 works perfectly online on the same PC and same connection
- In FC 26, online gameplay starts fine but after a few minutes:
- players feel heavy and unresponsive
- passes and shots are delayed
- overall gameplay becomes slow
- This happens even with good ping before the match
- Speed tests show low base ping but very high ping under load (bufferbloat)
I have already tried:
- Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi
- Changing DNS
- Disabling IPv6
- Forcing high performance GPU
- Windows and NVIDIA optimizations
- Different graphics settings
- Playing at different times of the day
Nothing fixes the issue only in FC 26 online.
This feels like a server-side / netcode issue on PC, especially related to latency stability, not raw ping or hardware performance.
I would like to know:
- Is this a known issue on FC 26 PC?
- Are there server or netcode optimizations planned?
- Is EA aware of high latency under load affecting gameplay?
Thank you in advance.
I hope this can be investigated, because the game is currently unplayable online for me.
