Hi all,
I wrote a bit in here about what happened to my account. I thought I was pretty polite but it looks like my message got deleted. I’ll try again, and to be a little less annoyed that an account I’ve had for 12 years has been banned from all past, present and future FC titles due to no fault whatsoever of me? Sorry EA?
I average about 1000 hours a fifa, dabble on the transfer market but make most of my coins from completing every squad battles, rivals, champs and objective going. I’m an absolute nerd.
I heard there was a Ronaldo SBC coming out, figured you would need a Portuguese IF, high rated with prem or MU links. I’m no market genius but I saw that the only card that fit all of those parameters was Bruno Fernandes. I bought a bunch at 27k and listed at max price. I didn’t really think they would sell but I thought he was going out of packs soon and if it came out you would need a card like his, his value would go up and I could reassess the situation down the line. If he went extinct or someone lazy bought him, brilliant.
I didn’t know about this mad ‘you list a card at the max price that we set and it sells you must be involved in coin transferring and you’re banned’ thing.
Now I’m stuck in a loop of appeals where I get the same generic response every time. I don’t know how to get an actual human to look at my case.
I stand by I did nothing wrong and have never broken any terms of service. I understand the ownership laws around online goods aren’t in the players favour - but how can you bar access to a goods or service that a player has put real world money into based on a AI detection service.
I feel like I should be reimbursed for all the content I have bought in my 12 year account if I’m unable to access it and because they’ve incorrectly labeled my account. How would I make this happen?
