Mass False Bans for “Balance Transfer” on PC

Throwback to 24.12.25, when EA’s automated detection system flagged thousands of PlayStation accounts for “balance transfer.” After 8–10 hours, they fixed the issue and unbanned everyone with a single click. Everyone thought the problem was resolved, the Wildcards promo continued, and the money kept flowing.

Now, three weeks later, guess what’s happening on PC?
Exactly the same thing that happened on Christmas Eve.

Multiple accounts in my community have been banned over the span of just two days. Casual players, traders — you name it. I even tested the issue myself by hopping onto unused accounts, trading a few cards, and playing a couple of Rivals games. And guess what? After about 10 hours of normal gameplay, I got banned for literally no reason.

We didn’t sell coins. Most of us didn’t use any external web app add-ons or bots. Just regular Weekend League gameplay with some trading on the side to improve our teams — literally using the in-game market as intended.

My friends and I did some research to figure out what might have caused this. We reviewed the cards we bought and sold, as well as our profits and losses. Across all 14 accounts, there was exactly one common card purchased on every single account: Ibanez Winter Wildcard.

The point of this post is to make this issue public and hopefully get it noticed by someone at EA. Many people have lost their time, money, and nerves. EA Help’s policy is based almost entirely on automated responses, so when you try to appeal a ban, you’re stuck resending the same message only to get rejected by a bot 24 hours later. It’s incredibly frustrating.

I've already made a post on Reddit and X both got quite a big attention, but still no action by EA.
So please, if you’re in the same situation, upvote this post. Feel free to comment about your experience with EA Help, and if you managed to get unbanned, let us know how you did it.

Fellow EA FC 26 players — cheers.

The things I've had to deal with in the past days are ridiculous so I'm going to share my experience here for people that might face a similar situation. I will give updates below this post if anything happens in the meantime.
This is the second time i make this post, first time got removed for no given reason.

A couple days ago i got an email in the middle of the night, saying i was permanently banned from FC 26.

I can only guess why i have been banned for ''coin transfer'', as the email stated, but its ridiculous that the automated ban system even flags an account for what I'm about to share.
I play on PC, which has a much smaller playerbase than console, which means the transfer market is a lot less active in comparison. I was awake super late at night for a couple days (around 5am GMT+1), so i started trading, bidding on hundreds of more expensive, rare cards, since they can fluctuate in price a lot. They can potentially make you a lot of profit if you get lucky and win one of those bids, which i eventually did. A few each night, maybe 1 out of 20 players i was bidding on. All this data is easily accessible data for EA. Of course, i then sold those players for the price they were selling for at that point in time.

What's most ridiculous to me is, that it is literally impossible to transfer coins through bid? Like, everyone could just bid on the same players I make a bid on, which people did on most of them.

Why am i being punished for normally using the transfer market?
I understand that this might have been issued by an automated system, but why has my first ban appeal been denied almost immediately, without anyone actually looking into things? It should be blatantly obvious that i haven't done anything against the TOS.
How is this the way a long time paying customer that never had any problems with their account in any way shape or form is being treated?

I've spent countless hours (900+ just in FC 26) and a lot of money this year again, while passionately building my account to where it is right now, just to get banned right before the biggest promo of the year? I have already missed out on a lot of things that expired over the last days. Why would I ever participate in coin transfer, when I barely ever even use expensive players bought on the transfer market? Easily 80% of the players I use are evolutions, with the other 20% probably being 15% SBC players.  Also, why would I ever be stupid enough to risk my account, that has been in good standing for many years? There is countless more reasons why none of this makes any sense.

My case has been stuck at ''Waiting on Studio'' for DAYS now.

I'm not even sure if i will get my account back at this point, since i have not heard any reasoning for my ban other than the general topic.

I'm beyond frustrated and scared that i will not be unbanned since I unfortunately haven't had a single positive experience with EA Help this far.

I have also opened another case with a ''Data Subject Access Request'', basically asking for them to send me the market data related to my account so i can prove that i haven't done anything wrong. No response for this case yet.

If anyone has any idea what options I still have, please let me know, I'm desperate for anything that  could help me solve this misunderstanding at this point.
