Ultimate Edition & Standard Edition help!

I have the new fc26 ultimate edition and two of my friends have the fc26 standard edition. When I try and send them an invite to play with/against them, it says ‘invite sent’ but they don’t receive it, and it’s the same the other way round. Why is this happening? Can ultimate edition not play with/against standard edition? I never had this problem with fc25! We all have PS5s!
