Ultimate Team
I would like to share one suggestion regarding the future of Ultimate Team in EA Sports FC.
I believe Ultimate Team should offer many more ways to play against AI, instead of relying mostly on Squad Battles as the only meaningful offline option.
After many years in online modes, I realized that a large number of players no longer want only constant stress, Weekend League pressure, and toxic competition. Some players simply want to:
- enjoy football in a calmer way,
- use their own tactics and playstyle,
- build their team at their own pace,
- play creatively,
- and experience progression without constant pressure.
Playing against Legendary or Ultimate difficulty AI often allows players to use actual football understanding more effectively:
- build-up play,
- positional thinking,
- patience,
- tactical decision-making.
In these matches, there is usually much less:
- meta abuse,
- exploit usage,
- toxic behavior,
- and pressure to win at any cost.
It would be great to see in the future:
- more offline Ultimate Team tournaments,
- season systems against AI,
- progressive AI championships,
- more rewards for single-player progression,
- and broader offline Ultimate Team content.
Right now, it often feels like all focus is directed toward online grind, matchmaking, and monetization. However, many long-term players eventually become exhausted from constant pressure and want a different kind of football gaming experience.
I believe Ultimate Team could become not only a competitive mode, but also a place for people who simply enjoy football, squad building, and tactical gameplay.
More high-quality AI content could help retain players who are currently burning out from online modes.
