I'll just say that I did everything as written here. Nothing helped, always the same error. Maybe I'm missing something, please help me.

No, you don't need a subscription to use the online features on PC.
I`m, they advised me to download the game without the paid story DLCs, I did that - it didn't help, they kept quiet
They should know how to fix this error.
Please contact EA help again, you most probably will get a different adviser.
I will tag EA_Shepard so he can have a look, but I don't know if he is around today.
