Hi there. Normally, when a player isn't in the game, it's due to not having their rights or there are some stipulations before they can be added to a roster. We always try to make rosters as accurate as possible and with them releasing normally every couple of weeks, it's entirely possible they will be added at some point.

    Since some players played in NHL 25 and are not here in NHL 26, I am listing for example players who played in the AHL or junior league in NHL 25.

    One player is retired and still a free agent, namely:
    Joel L. Esperance is retired.

    You need to verify more information about players who have changed clubs or are retired.
