Late to the party here but my ideal list would make one boss hunt available per season such as as sasquatch in summer, yeti in winter, and so on.
Anything is better than a random mixed mode no one cares about.

You are never late to this party! I can see the advantages of both. I do like the idea of one boss per season but it would have to be a good enough fight for the community that it doesn't get dull.
So with that being said, how would you prevent a "one boss per season" event from getting tedious and helping players keep interest in that one boss fight?
@EA_ShepardWell per season i meant a specific month during them like october halloween timeframe for spooky squash or december/january for yeti king.
Keep the rotation timeframe similar to how it is now of lasting roughly two weeks after the tuesday the events come on and then switch to another one such as soil survivors or cats vs dinos for the next month.
Basically just make a rotation where every month has something unique about it that can include all the special gamemodes that have achievements and items related to them over the mixed modes we're getting now that players are sick of already.

Halloween being one of my favorite holidays I am all for that happening! Yes!
The rotation is on point. This way you can swap over once done, it doesn't get repetitive. That's a good callout. Cats vs Dinos was a cool one. I enjoyed playing that.
I am an achievement hog so any mode that has those in it, I will absolutely play for sure. I am all about that. This is the feedback we like to have. Mix it up, make it more fun and something to look forward to and less repetitive. I gotch you!

The community loved capture the taco but its sadly the only truly unique mode that's still in the rotation.
We would love having a better rotation schedule out of the modes that are already in the game and coded just not being used right now.
Mods being able to add them back into solo play only makes that dissapointment worse since we know its possible.
The community is not asking for more updates since the game was left years ago, just a simple switch to make it better in its twilight years.
@EA_Shepard Seriously, like they can't just update the portals every day, the game has potential and is full of players with good ideas, they completely ignore it, they don't ask you to add a full update or a new map, just a portal rotation.💔.
@w0e8un2kevnmSadly this is the rotation they gave us in the first place when all development went to bfn (and look how that game turned out) and popcap vancouver was shut down.
Darn shame since even some pc modders like the private play remastered mod have shown that the game with even basic changes would be much better and does what popcap didnt like give us wallnut hills in solo play with all classes. I would love to see modders take over and see what they could do to benefit the game.
I guarantee that if they couldve acfually created new content/assests like maps somebody would've made all the gw1 maps already.
@EA_Shepard is there any updates about the change of mystery portal Can you please confirm with the community of what’s being done I think it would be a good idea to put a new change in the rotation with the whole new anti-cheat being added might as well update all the platforms
Community Manager@Derv2006 As of now there is not one. I spoke with Nick (PVZ CM) and Braddock on this the other day. They have not yet officially given an update so I cannot give an official update on what they want to do with the series and the requests that everyone is making. The moment they let me know, I will let everyone here know!

That would be great, but that question has been asked many times, I’m a Battle For Neighborville player on Nintendo Switch, I’m guessing you are too @PlayerJ51 ? There’s maybe a chance Garden Warfare 2 Will get a Nintendo Switch 2 release, but I wouldn’t hold your breath on that, that being said, a release on Switch 2 would boost sales of the console, bring in a whole new audience and lots would buy the console just for GW2, especially of it includes boss hunts, achievements and everything everyone loves.

Yes, I like BFN, but I only play it when it’s not possible to play GW2. BFN was the first one I bought, and a little over a year later, I bought Garden Warfare 2, which I played much more than BFN. I first got BFN and Garden Warfare 2 on Xbox, and now I’ve gotten BFN on Switch, and I would definitely buy Garden Warfare 2 if it were available. I turned on my old Xbox today and went to play Garden Warfare 2, but I played only a little (the controller ran out of battery).
Community Manager@PlayerJ51 Not that I have seen. Its a bit too old at this point. They did add all the classics on Steam so it may be possible at some point, but I haven't seen anything saying that will happen.
EA will not update anything else. I believe her last card is anti-cheat, trying to prevent one of the franchise's busiest games from dying for good. Considering that the last game (BfN) is already 5 years old and that EA has released 3 games of the same type in 5 years, this franchise (GW/BfN) is already dead.

Maybe it would be a great idea to announce to the community on social medias if the wanted allowed the bring back of the gamemode, like that it would make a lot of ppl come back and enjoy a very special and fun event on that beautiful game ! Personally, the franchise PVZ and this game especially have a special place for me as it followed me when I was younger. I'd love to get all the achievements now and the only one that I didn't do was the boss hunt in crazy difficulty because it was crazyyyy difficult when I was a kid ahah.
It would be an insane moment for a lot of ppl that enjoy this franchise !

As we continue to get this request, we do have to reiterate what was already pushed out to the players.
Currently, there are no planned updates to change the mystery portal or any other aspects of the game.
If there is a critical issue that needs to be reviewed, we can send that up, but as of now, no planned updates for modes or aspects of the game are in the works.
