Hey, everyone
With the implementation of the anti-cheat system, we anticipate a reduction in the incidents of players being "banned" or disconnected from the game, and unable to reconnect to matches. If you're still experiencing issues, please post your details on the [Info Request] thread that I have created for players.
There is also a thread on Player levels being reset, that myself and the team are working on. When there is an update on this one, we will post that on the thread.
As for the community requests we've received, such as Boss Hunts, Mystery Portal Updates, and other similar updates that everyone has been commenting on, here's the latest update we've received on these requests.
Q: Will we see the Mystery Portal rotation update?
A: The recent anti-cheat update was necessary to address a critical issue affecting a subset of our players that were impacted by exploits/cheats impacting their ability to play the game. Live service updates, including Mystery Portal rotations, are no longer in development for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2.
Continue engaging in discussions, creating artwork, and sharing guides as these are still critical in helping others enjoy the series. Our community remains vibrant and active, and your contributions to this series are invaluable.
As always, your feedback is welcomed and appreciated. For now, let's concentrate on enjoying the series.
Cheers!
@EA_Shepard so that means that we will never getting them back? If so, that’s a bit sad to know. But the game is old, like 8 years old, and the life services shut down 2020, 4 years already, so it is an understandable “reason”.
But why modders can do those changes and the devs can’t. Is it hard to just changes coding or something from mystery portal? Because for modders is easy, but it’s something that I will never understand.
But thanks by the way, you are so engaged to the community, something we appreciate. I hope you get a higher position to help the community more.

@Diegodudeperfect I can't say it won't ever happen but with the age of the game, and limited support, as of now it most likely just won't happen. If it does I will be the first one to update everyone and let them know.
As for the moders, that is an entirely different conversation. You cannot really control moders and what they do. So many games get moded by players and that is something that just wont change unless it is a direct exploit to the game. The anti cheat system is a perfect example of that. But take games like Skyrim, the Sims, and a ton of others on Steam. They are moded like crazy but they aren't used to exploit and break TOS.
That right there is a very different issue than simply mods that change a few things in the game. Once you alter the game with things that shouldn't be, you get in a very different issue.
- 2 years ago@EA_Shepard Why is it EA give PvZ2 (a 12 year old game) content updates, but refuses to give GW2 a single content update to bring back boss hunts?
- 2 years ago@EA_Shepard Do you know if its possible to transfer all your GW2 progress, from Xbox-one onto a PC?
This way I can download the Boss Hunt mod and play it with all my upgrades, customizations and character variants. - stukapooka2 years agoLegend@ForeverKnights Pvz 2 has a lot more players thanks to being a f2p mobile game if if the amount of downloads doesnt reflect players playing.

@flexibleFLIMINGO There is not no. Because there are two different platforms, there isn't a way to transfer progress from one to the other. I wish there was for games. It would make things much easier for players.
